Why Korea and China

The two countries hold different pieces of the AI stack. Where one is short, the other is strong.

Why each needs the other

AI does not close the loop inside one country. A good model without a factory never becomes a product, and a product without a market never becomes a business.

Korea leads in semiconductors and precision manufacturing but has little room to test new technology at scale. China puts AI onto roads and factory floors faster than anywhere else, yet runs into regulatory and perception barriers abroad.

Each gap is the other's strength. Korean technology meeting Chinese mass production and field testing makes products arrive sooner. Chinese capital and applications meeting Korean quality standards and sales channels opens wider markets.
